Problem Error-678
Description: Problem can be anywhere between B.RAS - Tier 2 - DSLAM - Modem - PC of the customer.
Remedy: Check ADSL /WAN link lamp in Modem.

a) If it is stable then call your vender to check computer’s LAN card driver.
b) If it is blinking, then it is line problem.
i) Check Modem to splitter connectivity that may be interchanged.

ii) Remove parallel tel/FAX/epabx/RINGER. It must be connected through splitter.
iii) Check dial tone in wire connected to modem & make sure the TEL NO is the same on which broadband connection is activated.

If lamp is still blinking - then it is due to poor line condition / fault.
Problem Error-691/619
Description: User id and Password problem.
Remedy: The case is to be referred to NIB (08.00 AM to 08.00 PM).
Contact: 12678 (toll free), 2224999, 2601666, 2229420.
NIB will reset the password and intimate that password has been reset.
Problem Error-769/678
Description: LAN not enabled.
Remedy: Open my computer right click my network places (left margin) then click properties (or open network connections via control panel).If LAN icon shows disabled, double click LAN or local area connection and click enable
The customer is requested to set it right.
Problem Error-718
Description: This problem occurs if loading is high on the system and number of customers exceeds the call handling capacity of B.RAS.
Remedy: Please try after some time.
Problem Error - 630-633
Description: Computer LAN Card problem.
Remedy: LAN Card has to be changed.
Lamp features
i) Power - ON –OK.

ii) WAN/ADSL -when stable –OK (wait for 2 minutes to get stable).
When blinking-Data transfer
when not stable/off- Line is faulty.
When blinking-Data transfer

iii) LAN/PC/ETHERNET –When stable- OK.
When blinking fast- Data transfer.
Off- PC not connected or LAN is not enabled.
iv) PPPoE/INTERNET - No use (stable if modem is always on).
v) DATA/ACT - Flashing - Data transfer.
